Bryan Clavey

Bryan began his audio career in 1995 at Crystall Recorders under the guidance of engineers Vince Micko, Charlie Prazma and Jim Massoth while attending Columbia College Chicago’s audio program and interning at Gravity Studios with Doug McBride.  During the late 90s he worked with local rock bands including Lucky Boys Confusion and Chicago area members of Parliament Funkadelic, eventually leading to sessions with George Clinton himself.

From the late 90s until 2021, Bryan was heavily involved in live sound for Chicago area bands Maggie Speaks and Magnificent Events, The Dennis Keith Experience, Big Fun, and The Cryan’ Shames.  With Maggie Speaks he spent 17 years mixing over 150 shows per year including corporate events across the U.S. as well as South America, Europe, China and Australia.  In 2021, he decided to step away from live sound to focus on family and the studio business.
